TVXQ’s Changmin To Make His Sweet Korean Solo Debut With Upcoming Mini-Album

TVXQ’s Changmin will be making April so much sweeter with his scheduled Korean solo debut!

TVXQ’s Changmin will present a new side of himself as a solo artist after announcing the upcoming release of his debut mini-album!

The TVXQ member revealed on March 23 that he will be releasing his first solo mini-album titled Chocolate this coming April 6!

Containing a rich lineup of of six songs from various genres, including the title track “Chocolate”, the mini-album is expected to receive enthusiastic responses from music fans.

In line with the announcement, he also released a logo for his debut as a soloist. Displayed in a simple black-and-white color motif, the logo comprises of the letters M, A, and X which throws an ode to his stage name “MAX Changmin”.

In addition to the hit songs he released with TVXQ since their debut in 2003, the singer-songwriter/lyricist/actor has released numerous hit songs as his solo works.

Apart from joining the ballad group S.M. the Ballad, he also gifted fans with a number of solo songs like “Beautiful Stranger” and “In A Different Life”.

The singer has also lent his voice to various drama OSTs including “A Person Like Tears” and “Because I couldn’t say the words “I Love You””.

Although Chocolate will mark his official solo debut in Korea, Changmin has previously released a Japanese solo mini-album titled Close To You in 2015.

Apart from showing his talents as a musician, Changmin has also proven his skills in many areas including writing lyrics, acting, and hosting. Thus, high anticipation and interest from fans is building up for the upcoming showcase of the new aspects of his solo activities.

Meanwhile, pre-orders for Chocolate will begin at various online and offline music stores this March 23.
