As announced by Oricon Chart, TVXQ’s seventh Japanese album Tree, which was released on March 5 last year, took the 13th place on Annual Album Sales ranking in 2014 with 265,013 copies sold, Kpop Herald reported.

The surprising result made TVXQ the most successful Korean artist with the highest ranking in Japan last year.

Other Korean stars also made the list as well; Girls’ Generation’s The Best (#22) and Love & Peace (#25), BIGBANG’s THE BEST OF BIGBANG 2006-2014 (#32), 2PM (#63), Daesung (#64), Taeyang (#68), and SHINee (#87).

On Annual Single Sales chart, TVXQ’s Sweat/Answer, which was released on June 11, 2014, snagged the highest-selling single with the 48th position. The duo’s singles Hide&Seek/Something and Time Works Wonders also entered the chart, ranking at No. 56 and No.59 respectively.
