JYP’s TWICE Looks For Love In Debut MV ‘Like Ooh-Ahh’
JYP Entertainment’s newest girl group TWICE finally made its highly-anticipated debut in the K-pop scene!
At midnight on October 20, the group released its debut album The Story Begins, as well as an unique zombie-themed music video for its title track Like Ooh-Ahh.
Produced by Black Eyed Pilseung, Like Ooh-Ahh is an upbeat and catchy dance track that features various music genres, including hip hop, R&B and rock. In the revealed music video, the girls captivate eyes with their bright and energetic charms in stylish streetwears. They show off their singing and rapping skills, as well as their smooth choreography while being chased by a throng of zombies.
After the album release, TWICE held a live debut showcase titled Ooh-Ahh, TWICE on the same day at 7:40 p.m (KST) via Naver’s real-time streaming service V app.
In related news, TWICE is JYP’s first female group in five years since miss A’s debut in 2010. The group is made up of nine members, namely Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Jihyo, Jungyeon, Mina, Momo, Nayeon, Sana and Tzuyu. The girls were selected from a pool of sixteen JYP trainees through Mnet’s survival program Sixteen aired in last May.
