TXT Holds Highest Position In Gaon Monthly Chart For Rookies In The First Half Of 2019

TXT debuted like stars – and it definitely reflected on their standing on the Gaon Monthly Chart!

TXT made an impressive showing at the first half of the year wrap-up reports of Gaon and landed themselves as the highest-ranking rookies in terms of sales!

The newest boy group from BigHit Entertainment continues to bask in the success of their album The Dream Chapter: STAR, which was released earlier in the year and marked their debut.

Based on Gaon Chart’s half-year report, the album sold 186,525 units since its release, which is highest among all rookies who debuted from January to June 2019.

They rank just behind EXO member Chen’s solo debut album April, and a flower which collected 187,794 units sold and is followed by Red Velvet on the thirteenth spot with The ReVe Festival: Day 1 and its 182,210 copies sold since its release.

Fellow 2019 rookies AB6IX also run behind them with B:COMPLETE landing at the sixteenth spot with 151,724 units. The two are the only rookie artists to make it at the chart’s Top 20, with Park Ji Hoon almost making it with O’CLOCK on the twenty-fourth spot with 109,033 album copies sold.

Among the top ten best-selling boy groups for the first half of 2019, they were able to take over the eighth highest spot.

Their company’s seniors BTS of course took the lead, followed by SEVENTEEN and Stray Kids. NCT 127, GOT7, MONSTA X, and NU’EST also ranked ahead of TXT.

Meanwhile, ATEEZ and AB6IX wrapped up the list of top ten best-selling boy groups in 2019 so far.
