UP10TION’s Bitto Tests COVID-19 Positive + Other Artists & Staff To Get Tested Too

TOP Media has recently made an announcement regarding the health condition of UP10TION’s Bitto.

In a recently released statement, the agency shared that the idol has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

“Hello, this is TOP Media. Our artist, UP10TION’s Bitto, tested positive for COVID-19. After the end of his schedule on November 29, he was informed that he came in close contact with a confirmed patient and was examined. His result came out on the morning of November 30,” the agency said.

All future schedules of UP10TION are also halted to ensure the safety of the members and staff. The agency revealed that all artists, staff, and employees who crossed paths with Bitto are also being tested for COVID-19.

“We sincerely apologize to broadcast representatives and involved staff members as broadcast activities were carried out without knowing that he came into close contact with a confirmed case,” the agency added.

Bitto recently performed with his group on Music Core and Inkigayo on November 28 and 29. Other artists who performed in the music shows include AKMU, CNBLUE, BTOB 4U, Stray Kids, TREASURE, NCT U, DRIPPIN, WOODZ, NORAZO, LUCY, BAE173, Bling Bling, STAYC, woo!ah!, and COOING.
