VIVIZ’s Umji Undergoes Self-Quarantine Following COVID-19 Diagnosis

Big Planet Made Entertainment has recently revealed the current health condition of one of its talented artists, VIVIZ’s Umji.
On the afternoon of January 28, the agency released an official statement, confirming that the idol has recently contracted the COVID-19 virus.
They emphasized that Umji, together with the rest of the VIVIZ members and their staff members, immediately received a PCR test after learning that they have come in contact with a confirmed case among the staff.
Thankfully, Umji has completed her second dose of vaccination and is now experiencing only mild symptoms. Big Planet Made Entertainment added that the artist will be treated in isolation.
Regarding the results of the other VIVIZ members, the agency stated that SinB and Eunha tested negative but are considering the incubation period. This also goes the same with the rest of the staff involved.
“We will continue to conduct PCR tests to check their health,” they added.
Delivering words of assurance to fans, Big Planet Made Entertainment said that they will continue to take the necessary measures, according to the requests and guidelines of the quarantine authorities in South Korea. Moreover, they promised that they will do their best to manage Umji’s quarantine.
“We apologize for causing concern, and we will do our best to support the artist so that he can recover quickly, considering the health and safety of the artist as the top priority,” they concluded.
Big Planet Made Entertainment has not yet released a comment regarding a possible debut schedule change or its temporary postponement.

Soon after learning the news, K-Pop fans worldwide sent their love to Umji through words of encouragement. They also expressed their concern for their beloved idol. Moreover, Umji’s name immediately entered Twitter’s trending list, along with the hashtag “GetWellSoonUmji.”
