Red Velvet opens 2021 with a bang!
Well-loved female K-pop quintet Red Velvet has recently gifted fans with a delightful new year’s present as they performed as a full-group for the first time in over a year.
Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri graced the SM TOWN LIVE “Culture Humanity” concert, which was streamed live for free at 1 PM today. Wendy officially returned on stage after undergoing a temporary hiatus due to an injury she got at the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon rehearsal.
Thrilling fans with their highly-awaited appearance, the girl group performed some of their biggest hits including “Bad Boy”, “Peek-A-Boo”, and “Pyscho”.
During the talk session, Wendy took the chance to reveal her happiness to finally perform again. She said, “It’s been a long time since we met you. How are you doing? After one year, I was able to stand on stage together with my members. I’m so thrilled, excited, and nervous at the same time. But most of all, I’m happy to be on this SMTOWN stage as we gathered as a whole group.”
SM Entertainment organized the SM TOWN Live “Culture Humanity” concert to bring comfort and convey hope to people around the world who are having a hard time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
