The multi-talented artist will gift fans with a follow-up full album containing twelve tracks.
MINO has been spoiling fans with continuous release of posters and teaser videos for his highly anticipated sophomore solo comeback. His agency, YG Entertainment, previously confirmed the release date of TAKE set on October 30, 2020 at 6PM KST.
TAKE, which comes out two years after his first solo studio album XX, shows MINO’s full participation in the production process. All twelve songs listed the WINNER member as lyricist and composer. The album also features collaboration with artists such as labelmate iKON’s BOBBY, Zion.T, meenoi, DPR LIVE and BeWHY.
MINO wrote, composed and arranged the title track “Run Away” together with KANG UK JIN and Diggy. The agency said, “MINO, who also produced his first album and was well-received, will once again reveal his own color with diverse and unique music.”
MINO the painter
The idol-rapper, who debuted with WINNER in 2015, has been busy with different endeavors. Apart from making music, MINO is also active as a TV personality, DJ and a painter. He recently revealed in his Instagram posts that his art pieces are in exhibit in the “Start Art Fair”. The Saatchi Gallery in London, England holds the fair. His works are part of “Korean Eye 2020”, a special exhibition that showcases the works of up-and-coming Korean artists.
MINO officially debuted as a painter when he submitted three of his art works for display at the SEEA (Special Exhibition for Emerging Artists) 2019. The Seongnam Art Center held the exhibit in December of last year.
