WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon Halts Activities After Being Diagnosed With COVID-19

YG Entertainment announced that WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The agency shared that their prized artist started exhibiting symptoms of a mild cold on April 7. He immediately used a rapid antigen test and received a positive result.
“Accordingly, he has immediately postponed his scheduled activities and is focusing on self-quarantine and treatment until April 13, following the guidelines of health authorities,” the agency said.
In addition, the agency provided an update regarding the health condition of the other members of WINNER. JINU, Song Mino, and Lee Seung Hoon all tested negative for COVID-19 and are not showing any particular symptoms.
The agency added, “We are putting our utmost efforts in placing the health and safety of the agency’s artist foremost. We are grateful for your support in wishing Kang Seung Yoon a speedy recovery.”
Meanwhile, in related news, WINNER will meet fans with back-to-back concerts very soon. Titled WINNER 2022 Concert, the quartet’s upcoming music gathering with fans will take place on April 30 and May 1 at the Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, starting at 5 PM KST. To accommodate global fans, the special event will also air simultaneously via a separate online viewing page on the second day.
