X1 are proving to be part of 2019’s power rookie lineup indeed!

X1 had officially surpassed the half-million mark for their first week sales record with Quantum Leap.

The Produce X 101 project boy group successfully broke through the K-Pop scene on their first hello to fans as proven by the astounding response to their debut.

X1’s first mini-album Quantum Leap was able to amass a whopping total of 524,007 album sales just on its first week. This data was reflected on South Korea’s Hanteo Chart covering sales for the week of August 27 to September 2, 2019.

With this, they had set a new record for highest first week sales of a debut album by a K-Pop group. They also broke that record for K-Pop artists in general as they surpassed Kang Daniel’s 466,000 copies sold, for his debut mini-album Color on Me this year.

Additionally, a total of 268,000 album sales were also recorded on the release day of Quantum Leap.

Upon its release, the mini-album also ranked first in 38 countries on Apple Music’s K-Pop Albums chart. It also placed first in 33 countries on iTunes’ K-Pop Albums chart, showing the great response from fans.

Meanwhile, its title song “Flash” emerged first in the real-time ranking of domestic music site Melon.

X1 released their first mini-album Quantum Leap on August 27 with a message expressing “the flight and journey of eleven boys full of hope” about their debut.

On the same day, they greeted their fans on stage for the very first time with a premiere showcon. Held at the Gocheok Sky Dome, the event was a combination of a showcase and concert, which produced a gorgeous experience for both the group and their fans.
