Yoo Seung Ho Steps Down From Upcoming Movie “Firefighter”
Yoo Seung Ho leaves the movie Firefighter.
Looks like, there is sad news for fans who are expecting to see Yoo Seung Ho in upcoming film Firefighter.
An official from actor’s side said, “Yoo Seung Ho decided step down after the filming was postponed due to the impact of COVID-19. The decision was made after thoughtful discussion with the production team.”
Firefighter will be directed by Kwak Kyung Taek, who recently co-directed the 2019 film – The Battle of Jangsari. The movie tells the story of Korean firefighters. Kwak Do Won, Yoo Seung Ho, and Yoo Jae Myeong were tapped to play the lead roles in the movie. It was originally scheduled to start shooting on April 16, but its filming has been postponed due to the effect of COVID-19.
According to reports, the actor planned to start filming for the movie, after completion of his drama Memorist. However, he decided to forego the movie after the filming was postponed.
Since, the actors needs to train and learn about firefighter before starting to film. This will conflict on his already planned schedules for which he is in talks for.
Yoo is currently starring in tvN’s drama Memorist, based on a webtoon of the same title. The drama tells story of a detective with a special ability to read people’s memory. He works together with elite profiler to catch criminal on loose.
