Some of the hottest K-Pop boy groups today are about to showcase their world-class talents in a new Mnet survival reality program!

Mnet’s new idol program Kingdom: Legendary War will commence shooting along with six amazing groups at the end of this month.

On February 15, an industry source revealed that the program is preparing to shoot its new installment. The first day of filming will be on February 23. Making fans even more stoked, the first shooting day will have a concept of a fierce and strong face-to-face ceremony.

In the segment, the six participating groups will gather in one place to meet and possibly converse with each other before the competition officially begins. Moreover, this will serve as an opportunity for the boy groups to know their competitors as well as their capabilities as multitalented artists.

Expected to be full of energy and tension, the program will also demonstrate the boy groups’ overflowing charismas and distinct presences.

Kingdom: Legendary War is a spin-off of Queendom, a girl group comeback battle aired on Mnet in 2019. Additionally, the same program is also the sequel to Road To Kingdom, in which The Boyz scored the No.1 spot.

Specifically, Kingdom: Legendary War features various male groups competing to win a “throne” and be the best “King.” Acclaimed duo TVXQ, composed of Changmin and U-Know, will smoothly lead and make the show even more fun as MCs.

About to take fans’ breaths and hearts away, the solid lineup of the program’s six teams includes BTOB, iKON, SF9, The Boyz, Stray Kids and ATEEZ.

Known for their godly voices and harmonious chemistry, BTOB will surely take the spotlight with their unique musical skills and performances.

Marking their return to the network, iKON will take part in the program after their one-year hiatus, while equipped with their strong music prowess. SF9, who is slowly dominating the world even with their personal endeavors, is also ready to take the spotlight with their iconic talents.

After winning the prequel in June 2020, The Boyz will come back to the show bolder than ever with their applaudable artistry. Expected to bring another level of charm on the table, Stray Kids will demonstrate their top-tier singing, rapping and dancing capabilities, especially after taking over the world with their mesmerizing “Maramat-themed” performances.

Furthermore, ATEEZ, who has been exhibiting growth day by day, will surely make fans swoon with their extraordinary concepts and heartfelt releases.

On February 17, Mnet shared a thrilling news to fans by dropping another video teaser. Fueling fans’ growing anticipation, the one minute and 53 seconds preview shows the six groups in their own agency conference rooms and having meetings for the show.

In the clip, the various members of each group shared their feelings regarding the upcoming airing of the program. Eventually, it was revealed that the groups’ introduction stages will air live on February 23, along with an implementation of global voting. The results of the said voting will also be released on the same day, making the show’s atmosphere even more suspenseful and exciting.

Meanwhile, Kingdom: Legendary War will officially premiere on Mnet in April.
