Known as the dancing queens of Girls’ Generation, Yuri and Hyoyeon will appear on Mnet‘s dance survival show Dancing 9 as coaches.
Alongside Shinwa‘s Lee Min Woo, Lee Yongwoo, Park Jiwoo, Park Jieun, Woo Hyunyoung, Ducky and Poppin J, the two will help the contestants as K-pop dance masters. As past of South Korea’s foremost girl group, Yuri and Hyoyeon are expected to channel their experience to the participants. They said that:
“We saw, in person, people all over the world be enthusiastic over just a dance while performing in various countries in Asia and Europe. We keenly felt just how powerful the ripple effect of dance is. We want to share the fashion, trend, stage performance, team work, and other things we’ve gained through group activities, as well as various experiences and know-hows to ‘Dancing 9’ contestants. For contestants who are trying to become stars with dancing, we will try our best to give them the most practical help”.
Dancing 9 will air it’s first episode on July 20. It aims to pick the best in dancing regardless of the genre. The masters will be divided into two teams to lead the show.
