Han Chae Young Returns To The Small Screen With MBC Drama “A Promise With The Gods”

Han Chae Young is coming back with a new drama after four years.

MBC confirmed the new special weekend drama A Promise with the Gods is set to star Han Chae Young, who will be playing the role of a diva announcer and talk show host.

Perfectly matching Han Chae Young’s urban and sophisticated charm, her character will be adorned by the actress innate chic visual.

Dubbed as the “ Barbie Doll of Korea”, Han Chae Young debuted in iconic melodrama Autumn in My Heart in year 2000 playing the villain role.

2005 marked Han’s breakthrough year after gaining recognition from romance dramas Delightful Girl Chun Hyang and Only You.

She also made a cameo in the youth drama Boys Over Flowers as Kim Hyun Joong’s character’s first love.

Her popularity extended in China where she landed roles in both films and dramas. Aside from acting, she was also a part of the second season of variety show Sister Slam Dunk.

This will be Han’s comeback in the small screen after four years, and a reunion drama with Lee Chun Hee after 13 years. They previously worked together in the hit series Only You.
