JYJ’s Yoochun has been offered a new drama lead
After receiving a lot of credit for his roles in the dramas Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Miss Ripley and the more recent Rooftop Prince, Yoochun considers taking on another drama role. Only months after finishing Rooftop Prince the popular singer andactor has been offered the lead role in a new drama project. Called I Miss You in English, the project is a conventional melodrama about first loves, which seems to be a more innocent genre compared to what Yoochun has played in before.
I Miss You will be about the first love of two young teenagers, but through some incidents they break up and don’t see each other again until the two meet again as adults and the drama will continue to follow their struggles. Yoochun’s co-star has not been confirmed, although there have been rumours Sohn Ye-jin has been offered the role, but apparently she turned it down due to the fact she’s filming a movie.
The drama will run for 16 episodes and it will take over the time slot of Arang and the Magistrate on MBC, and the drama should start airing in late October.
