Lee Dong Wook To Feature In Philippine Documentary “Hallyu And I”

Lee Dong Wook is back on Philippine TV — in a documentary this time.

South Korean actor Lee Dong Wook will take part in a Philippine documentary on Korean culture and the Korean wave this Sunday.

The documentary, which will be presented by reporter Marie Lozano, will feature an interview with the South Korean actor.

Lee is well-known in the Philippines for his portrayal of Gong Chan in the 2005 hit drama My Girl and as the Grim Reaper in the 2016 hit drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. Both dramas were well-received by the Filipino audience, even prompting the actor to visit the country during My Girl fame.

Local television network ABS-CBN will air Hallyu and I on May 20 after its local show Gandang Gabi Vice. It will also be broadcast on ANC, ABS-CBN News Channel, on May 23 at 8 p.m.

Aside from an interview with Lee Dong Wook, the documentary will present location shoots of various hit Korean drama including Goblin, and sights and scenery in the country like the winter wonderland province of Gangwon.

Lozano will also entice viewers as she relishes the vibrant flavors of Korean cuisines. Viewers will also get to know the latest trends in beauty and fashion in the district of Myeongdong.
