Lee Jong Suk, Kim Woo Bin to Not Join Chinese Version of ‘We Got Married’
On February 6, actors Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin quashed the groundless rumors about their appearance on the coming Chinese version of the popular reality program We Got Married.
Previously, it was reported by online news outlet Kpopstarz that the two were in discussions of making their appearance on the Chinese version of the show.
Regarding the report, Lee Jong Suk’s agency Wellmade Yedang stated that it was totally incorrect. Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin’s representative from SidusHQ said: “It is not true. (We have not received) even a suggestion.”
We Got Married is a South Korean broadcaster MBC’s popular reality variety show that first aired in 2008. The show pairs Korean celebrities up and showcases what life would be like if they were married. Different couples are given missions to complete each week with candid interviews of the participants afterwards to share their thoughts and feelings on what happened during filming.
China’s Jiangsu Satellite TV bought the rights to the spin-off of the show from MBC, and is scheduled to air the first episode in April.
