Lim Ji Yeon, UEE In Discussions to Star in ‘True Romance’
It is likely that actress Lim Ji Yeon and After School’s UEE will join the line-up of the new SBS drama, titled True Romance.
According to a representative of the coming drama’s production team on May 4, Lim Ji Yeon and UEE have recently received casting offers for True Romance, and they are currently in the final stages of reviewing the roles.
If the two stars confirm their appearances on this drama, they will play the female leads, acting alongside ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik and Sung Jun, who have been reportedly selected to act in the SBS drama.
True Romance, which was previously entitled Chaebol′s Daughter, tells the love story between a wealthy heiress of a conglomerate group, who tries to find true love by hiding her identity working part-time at a food market, and a poor man who thinks love is just an emotional tool that allows the ruling class to dominate lower classes. It is a co-written product of writer Ha Myung Hee and Choi Young Hoon PD, who also teamed up for the SBS drama A Warm Word.
The drama is set to be broadcast in June, after the completion of I Heard It Through the Grapevine.
