“Mimi Shop” To Feature Influencers & Fans From Five Asian Countries In First Regional Crossover
Mimi Shop and Viu are bringing influencers and fans for a regional crossover in its upcoming episode!
JTBC4’s popular beauty variety show, Mimi Shop, is set to feature top beauty and lifestyle influencers and fans from five Southeast Asian countries — Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand — in a first regional crossover collaboration with Viu, the go-to streaming platform for the latest Korean and Asian dramas and variety shows.
The top beauty and lifestyle influencers, Anya Geraldine of Indonesia, Alicia Tan of Malaysia, Ana Gonzales of the Philippines, Soh Pei Shi of Singapore, and Natawan Pormchaichapen of Thailand, will share the latest beauty trends in their respective countries on the show. They will also discuss with the celebrity crew of the show the impact of the K-beauty scene in the beauty trends of their countries.
Meanwhile, five lucky fans will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to undergo a dream makeover and meet the celebrity crew of Mimi Shop namely 2NE1’s Sandara Park, H.O.T.’s Tony Ahn, actress Shin So Yul, rapper Cheetah, and model Kim Jin Kyung. WINNER’s leader Kang Seungyoon will also be part of the episode as a special surprise crew member.
Aside from a makeover, the fans will also get useful makeup tips from their idols and learn how to properly apply and wear makeup with confidence.
Viu and Mimi Shop‘s collaboration will be aired as two episodes on August 22 and 29 during the show’s season one run which will be aired concurrently on JTBC4 and Viu.
