Tale of Gyeryong Fairy has secured its broadcast date on November 5.

Moon Chae Won takes the role of a 699-year-old fairy, who is unable to return home, because she has lost her fairy clothes. She then meets two possible reincarnations of her previous husbands, who will be portrayed by Yoon Hyun Min and Seo Ji Hoon – a biology professor and biology graduate student respectively.

Based on a popular webtoon of the same title, it is a reimagination of the classic Korean folktale – The Fairy and the Woodcutter.

This will be a cute switch from the main leads’ last serious roles as a detective in Criminal Minds for Moon; and a lawyer in Witch’s Court for Yoon. With tvN strongly holding the reign of buzz worthy dramas this year, the channel aims to add another successful fantasy romance to end the year with a bang.
