Episode seven, “The Vanished Magician”, features the members search for clues about a magician’s disappearance.

They trace it to the people around the magician, which lead them to suspect his mentee, girlfriend, foreign friend, and the girl who assists in his show.

EXO’s Sehun opens the episode with a quick and sleek dance performance to perk up the mood.

Choi Hyeon U, who portrays the magician and the magician’s look-alike student, brandishes bewildering magic tricks which left the members in awe.

Actress Jung Hye Sung (Doubtful Victory) also joins for a quick role as the magician’s girlfriend, which made Lee Kwang Soo and Sehun playfully act as high school boys happily scoring a selfie with her.

American voice actor and mentalist Joshua Seth gives Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Jong Min a dose of his amazing hypnosis skill.

Episode eight, “The Mysterious Gentleman”, raises the competitive spirit of the team as they participate on the challenge of an old man who set up a three-tier test of a supposed murder case.

The first test had the mainstays figure out how a culprit escapes the house of a couple he murdered.

With money at stake, the investigators withhold details from each other.

Though Sehun’s analysis determined the murderer’s escape route, Lee Kwang Soo’s variety-show-veteran move lets him win the first test.

The detectives move to the second test which divided them into two groups of police officers who are tasked to unveil how a culprit escapes a crime scene.

Ahn Jae Wook is chosen to play the culprit who had to follow the escape scenario.

Park Min Young and Yoo Jae Suk lead the two teams tasked to figure out the detailed steps of how the culprit escaped the crime scene in 30 minutes.

The final test grouped the detectives in four with a goal to locate four crime suspects.

Each team has to play games to convince their targets to a rendezvous set by the mysterious gentleman.
