Seo Kang Joon And Esom Talk About Working With Each Other For “The Third Charm”

As if we couldn’t be more excited for The Third Charm to hit our TV screens already, Seo Kang Joon and Esom goes to gush about working with each other for their upcoming drama!

In addition to the quirky posters for their upcoming jTBC drama The Third Charm, Seo Kang Joon and Esom wins us over even more with their team-up as they share only good things about working with each other!

The two are set to star in the new romance series which revolves around the story of two lovers in a duration of – yes, you’re hearing it right – twelve years! It will show the ups and downs of such a relationship, and even goes as far as comparing it to the changing of seasons.

The Third Charm

“When I heard that Esom was going to be my partner, I was very excited to work with her so I wanted the filming to start quickly,” Seo Kang Joon revealed. He will be playing the role of  On Joon Young. His character is someone who always sticks to his routines – which are all deliberately and carefully planned – and is a complete stickler for rules and orders.

Joon Young’s personality is completely contrasting with Esom’s character Lee Young Jae who is known for her mischief and spontaneity. Somehow, they end up falling for each other and maintain a twelve-year-long relationship – despite being opposites. However, because of their differences, encountering obstacles along the way is inevitable.

“I know he’s a very handsome and wonderful actor, but when I saw him acting on the scene, I was surprised to see him perform well and coordinate well on the spot,” Esom complimented her leading man in return.

The Third Charm is set to air every Friday and Saturday on JTBC at 11 p.m. KST starting September 28.
