Chinese fans, wait no longer as the two Korean big stars Song Hye Kyo and Kang Dong Won’s new movie titled My Brilliant Life is set to hit the theaters in China on March 13.

On March 11, actress Song Hye Kyo, along with the film’s director Lee Jae Yong, headed to China to carry out promotional activities, which included premier preview, press conference, and interviews for the movie. Actor Kang Dong Won was unable to participate in the events due to his hectic schedule on the filming set of Black Priests.

Earlier on last October, the two leads visited Hong Kong for the premiere of the film.

My Brilliant Life is based on Kim Ae Ran’s 2011 bestselling novel My Palpitating Life. It tells the story of a couple who become parents at the young age of 17, and their son Ah Reum, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder progeria, which causes premature aging.

In related news, My Brilliant Life reaches out to 1.5 million nationwide viewers after its premiere in Korea on September 3, 2014. It was also the only Korean movie invited to be shown for the Gala Presentation during the Spotlight on Korea segment of the 34th Annual Hawaii International Film Festival, which took place on last October.
