Wanna One Returns For Season 3 Of “Wanna One Go”
Because we can never get enough of Wanna One, our (and your) wish is now granted for the third installment of Wanna One Go!
Mnet officially announced the third season of Wanna One’s reality show, Wanna One Go: X-CON, on April 16.
Unlike the last season which showcased trivial activities of the members, X-CON will highlight the group’s preparation process for their new album, which is used for their upcoming concert.
The first season of Wanna One Go highlights the group’s behind-the-scene activities prior to their debut when they moved to their new dormitory and were given tasks by the production team.
The second season ZERO BASE lets the viewers see the boys and their different personalities as they engaged to create happy memories.
Wanna One Go: X-CON will divide the group into four units, which will prepare songs used for their upcoming world tour beginning June 1-3 in Gocheok Skydome in Seoul. These units, together with previous producers, will produce collaborative songs that show their individuality.
In the unit matching process revealed through the teaser photos on May 4, Wanna One members hit the suburbs. They show courtship struggles to appeal their charms including cute dances, sweet songs and adorable aegyos.
The 11 members will have direct participation on the songs and performances for the music project, which are featured on the first concert day, dubbed as X-CON DAY.
The group recently made a comeback with second album I Promise You, featuring hit single “Boomerang”. The Produce 101 Season 2 babies have also ventured to their respective individual activities, such as guesting at television shows, gracing magazine pictorials, and promoting advertisements.
In related news, Wanna One will participate as the first guest of jTBC’s new entertainment program, Idol Room. Members Park Ji Hoon and Park Woo Jin are also confirmed for KBS’ Battle trip guesting. Center Kang Daniel is currently delighting Wannables with his bubbly personality in MBC’s reality show about homebodies, It’s Dangerous Outside the Blanket.
