Meet The Star-studded Lineup For “Queendom 2”

Mnet has recently unveiled the star-studded lineup of K-pop female acts for its much-awaited TV comeback competition program, Queendom 2.
Before we officially watch the show’s premiere on March 31 at 9:20 PM, let’s first get to know the multi-talented competitors in the upcoming season.
Brave Girls
Brave Girls will prove why they are indeed one of the most sought-after groups in the K-pop scene today through their upcoming performances in the competition. Causing a craze last year, they rose with their song “Rollin,” which was released five years ago.
VIVIZ
VIVIZ consists of former GFRIEND members Eunha, SinB, and Umji. This time as a trio, they are ready to steal hearts of viewers with their talents and charms.
Cosmic Girls (WJSN)
Regardless of genre, Cosmic Girls, also known as WJSN, have been active in the entertainment world since their debut in 2016. Among their most-loved tracks include “Don’t Touch,” “Secret,” and “Butterfly.” Viewers should stay tuned on what kind of performances they will unveil in the show.
LOONA
LOONA continues to gain recognition not only from domestic fans but also global supporters. In the competition, they are set to showcase their unique color and admirable teamwork.
Kep1er
Despite being the youngest competitor in the lineup, Kepler is composed of survivors and definitely a team to watch out for! Notably, they marked their name as a super rookie idol group who holds the record for highest 1st-day sales of any girl group debut album in Hanteo history.
Hyolyn
Last but definitely not the least is Hyloyn, a former member of the popular girl group, SISTAR. Although she will be competing as a soloist, other groups should keep an eye out as she is ready to show her impressive singing and dancing skills, partnered with her amazing stage presence.
The production team of Queendom 2 shared, “All six artists have a history of winning first place on music programs. They will please music fans with the best stage with as much variety as their different personalities.”
Meanwhile, Queendom first aired in 2019. It is a comeback survival program where six K-pop female acts compete in various missions to win the crown. At that time, it was a popular music program that created a big direction in the music industry by generating a lot of attention with the splendid performances of K-pop girl groups.
Taeyeon, who is an active female soloist and the leader of the legendary girl group, Girls’ Generation, will lead the program as host.
