KickFlip Gears Up for Comeback with Third Mini Album “My First Flip”

By  |

YP Entertainment’s rookie boy group KickFlip is making their much-anticipated return with their third mini album My First Flip, set for release on September 22 at 6 PM.

The comeback comes just four months after their second mini album Kick Out, Flip Now! and will further solidify their position as one of K-pop’s hottest “super rookies.”

At midnight on September 1, the group unveiled a music video teaser for the title track Band-Aid through their official SNS channels, immediately heightening anticipation. The teaser begins with Minje’s signature deep narration—“That kid said. First love hurts.”—paired with his pure, youthful visuals that felt straight out of a coming-of-age film. The clip then transitions to vibrant scenes of all seven members—Gye-hoon, Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Minje, Kei-ju, and Dong-hyun—in school uniforms, dashing through hallways and rooftops before plunging into a swimming pool to the backdrop of an energetic band sound. The full music video is set to drop at midnight on September 2.

KickFlip has been on a steady rise since their debut in January 2025 with Flip it, Kick it! and the title track Mama Said (What Are You Trying to Become?). Their follow-up project Kick Out, Flip Now! and its lead single FREEZE showcased their growth, while their powerful performances on global stages—Lollapalooza Chicago, Summer Sonic Tokyo/Osaka, TIMA 2025, and Summer Sonic Bangkok—cemented their reputation as “next-generation stage craftsmen.”

The group’s past albums embodied a rebellious spirit, expressing their determination to shake off nagging voices from home and school to carve their own path. With My First Flip, fans are eager to see what fresh story and perspective the group will bring to the table.

KickFlip’s third mini album My First Flip officially drops on September 22 at 6 PM, promising another bold leap forward in their rookie journey.
