Seo Kangjun and Ahn Eun Jin Navigate Love’s Toughest Questions in Prime Video’s “A Love Other Than Yours”
What happens when a love that once burned brightly begins to feel like home—and someone unexpected makes your heart race again?
Prime Video is set to explore that emotionally charged dilemma in A Love Other Than Yours, an upcoming Korean romance premiering September 12 exclusively on the streaming platform in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Headlined by Seo Kangjun and Ahn Eun Jin, with Lee Joo Ahn and Jo Aram rounding out the main cast, the 14-episode series delves into the delicate balance between comfort, commitment, and the possibility of a new beginning. Rather than asking whether love can last forever, the drama poses a more complicated question: After ten years together, are you still choosing each other—or simply staying because it’s familiar?
At the center of the story are Namgung Ho and Lee Mi-do, a couple whose decade-long relationship has evolved from fiery romance into quiet companionship. Ho believes marriage is the natural next step, confident that the bond they’ve built through the years can overcome anything.
Mi-do, however, finds herself at a crossroads.
As an accomplished film director grappling with a career slump, she unexpectedly develops feelings for another man—forcing her to confront emotions she never imagined experiencing while in a long-term relationship. Suddenly, the future she once envisioned no longer seems so certain.
Seo Kangjun takes on the role of Namgung Ho, a warm and charismatic assistant manager at Hunmin Snacks whose unwavering devotion is shaken when the woman he loves begins drifting away. Opposite him, Ahn Eun-jin portrays Lee Mi-do, a passionate filmmaker searching not only for creative inspiration but also for answers about her own heart.
Complicating matters further is Lee Joo Ahn as Han Tae-seung, a brilliant attorney whose carefully controlled life begins to unravel after meeting Mi-do. Meanwhile, Jo Aram stars as Park Su-a, a reserved employee at Hunmin Snacks whose composed exterior masks years of emotional restraint.
Behind the series is an accomplished creative team led by directors Hwang Seung-ki (The Matchmakers, Into the Ring, Radio Romance) and Lee Garam, with the screenplay penned by Yoo Su-ji (Somehow 18). Together, they promise a romance grounded in emotional realism, exploring the quiet moments, difficult conversations, and life-changing decisions that define long-term relationships.
Featuring stellar cast and thoughtful storytelling, A Love Other Than Yours is shaping up to be one of this year’s most anticipated romance dramas—one that looks beyond butterflies and first love to examine what it truly means to stay, leave, and love again.
A Love Other Than Yours premieres September 12, streaming exclusively on Prime Video in the Philippines and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
