K-Pop’s global domination continues! 125,000 fans flooded the KCON LA festival over three days, showcasing the genre’s unstoppable rise.

This year’s event wasn’t just packed with live attendees; a whopping 5.8 million people from 176 countries tuned in online! Marking a huge win for K-Pop, the CW Network, a top US broadcaster, aired the main concert “M COUNTDOWN” live during primetime!

This first-of-its-kind collaboration exposes K-Pop to a massive audience of 120 million viewers.

Fans were treated to performances by legendary acts like g.o.d. and rising stars including INI, Kep1er, P1Harmony, and more. Top actors Kim Soo Hyun and Park Min Young also met with excited fans at a special event.

KCON wasn’t just about tunes! 119 Korean companies showcased their products, with 50 small and medium-sized businesses exploring new markets in the US.

From K-Pop dance competitions to Korean language games, the event offered interactive experiences for fans to dive deeper into Korean culture.

KCON began in Irvine, USA back in 2012, and has since expanded to 13 regions worldwide.

With a total of 1.96 million offline attendees over 12 years, KCON shows no signs of slowing down. Next stop: Germany in September for KCON’s first-ever European event!
