Kang Daniel Shares His Views On Public Perception + Taking Time To Recharge On star1’s May 2020 Issue

Producing a light and carefree atmosphere, Kang Daniel exuded a naturally mesmerizing charm with a fashionable mood as he decorated the cover of star1’s May 2020 issue.
Recently returning with the mini-album CYAN, the multi-talented idol expressed his goal to become an artist who always raises expectations as he goes forward with his music career.
Kang Daniel, who finally stood back on stage after his hiatus, described his latest release as “an album where everything feels like the first because the comeback took place after having a sudden hiatus.”
When asked about how he wanted the public to perceive the name “Kang Daniel”, he replied, “I’m just thankful that I’m recognized by people as Kang Daniel”.
However, he expressed a wish regarding being in the limelight that he made after taking a break. “In the past, I felt burdened by the pressure that came along with my name. So now, I want to be a person who leads my own name—without being swayed or dragged by fame,” Daniel said.
Additionally, he shared that what he really wants to achieve is getting “reviews saying that I turned the stage upside down [with my performances] at the end of the year.”
The multi-talented idol also added that he wants to be recognized by many people, especially since there are fandom members of other singers.
As for his first solo reality show Hello, Daniel which came along with his full-fledged comeback, he said, “I was happy to have a good time because I really needed it for recharging.”
