Taeyeon Marks 10th Solo Anniversary with Compilation Album ‘Panorama’: “I Will Always Sing with Gratitude”

Taeyeon is celebrating a decade as a solo artist with the release of her first compilation album, Panorama: The Best of TAEYEON, arriving December 1 at 6 PM across major music platforms.

The album serves as both a reflection and a celebration of Taeyeon’s 10-year solo journey, showcasing her evolution as a singer and performer.

Panorama features a total of 24 carefully selected tracks spanning representative periods and genres of Taeyeon’s solo career. The album includes her new title track, also named Panorama, offering fans a sweeping view of her musical growth while providing a sense of continuity between past and future endeavors.

The title track Panorama blends pop-rock elements with a dynamic arrangement of lively piano, synthesizer, strong drums, and raw guitar melodies. The lyrics deliver a heartfelt message to both her past and future selves, while Taeyeon’s vocals shift seamlessly between delicate softness and powerful resonance, leaving listeners with a sense of emotional catharsis.

The accompanying music video adopts a road movie format, telling the story of Taeyeon, who, after losing her memory in an accident, encounters a girl who looks just like her. Together, they embark on an impromptu journey, spending a dreamlike day exploring the city. With cinematic visuals, dramatic storytelling, and Taeyeon’s refreshing screen presence, the video complements the song’s emotional depth and enhances its impact.

In addition to the new tracks, the compilation includes refreshed versions of past favorites. Time Lapse (2025 Mix), remixed by Kim Jong-wan of NELL, adds a new dimension to one of Taeyeon’s iconic songs, while I (Solo Ver.) reimagines her debut track, capturing her growth over the past decade. The CD-only track Insa (Panorama) (Live Studio Session) allows fans to experience a live rendition of her beloved work, providing a special treat for collectors and long-time listeners.

Q. What does your 10th anniversary mean to you, and what message would you like to give your fans?
A. I always sing with a grateful heart for being with me on this journey. I’ll show you an even better side of myself on this 10th anniversary.

Q. How do you feel about releasing a new version of your debut song, “I,” after 10 years?
A. It’s such a signature song to me, so precious that I decided to create a new version. While new songs are great, I also wanted to capture the charm of the original songs through a different lens.

Q. The album includes 24 tracks. Were there any songs you regret not including?
A. It was hard to choose just one song, so I picked two: “Circus” and “Something New” from my third mini-album.

Q. How would you describe the new song Panorama?
A. It’s a story about sending precious greetings to my past and future selves. It’s a song created with my fans in mind.

Q. What are your hopes for the next 10 years as an artist?
A. I think I will be more comfortable and happier, and more confident in front of people and myself.
