Choi Yoojung Reveals Candid Thoughts About Making Her Solo Debut

Choi Yoojung gamely shared her candid thoughts on her solo career.

Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung recently released her Sunflower interview film on YouTube, where she talked about her first solo music release.

The released video contains the idol’s album preparation process and interview. Behind-the-scenes videos as well as sensual videos that reveal the atmosphere of her solo debut album Sunflower are also included.

First of all, she described her feelings about her album. “People change by a lot of things in life. It seems a bit sad. Because I was doing that too, such people do not intervene or calculate, and I am purely original. I hope you don’t lose the things that you liked and valued (I thought).”

She said, “I tried to make my voice feel a little different in the composition of the album. It’s a little different from what I’ve shown as Weki Meki, so I think it will be fun to listen to. It felt like it came out well, so those things have come true,

In addition, she narrated a story about her training period and unveiled the feelings she had while preparing to become a singer, along with episodes that give a glimpse into the unique talents of her childhood.

She also recalled her debut days, saying, “I thought that I had to work hard and grow into a wonderful person, and I think my image as an artist in my own way is also very cool. I hope it will be like that.”

Choi Yoojung, who confessed that she suffered from anxiety in her fourth year as a trainee, thanked her family and members for their support.

Lastly, she said, “I put things that are precious to me and things that are just like me. You have to love yourself. I want to achieve that as a goal. This album really contains a lot of me, so you can see and listen to another side of me. I hope you find it and enjoy watching them.”
