NewJeans Rises As No. 1 Star in January Brand Rankings
Proving their impressive influence, NewJeans has recently topped the star brand reputation rankings for the month of January!
From scoring grand deals to setting records left and right, phenomenal rookie girl group NewJeans definitely owns the spotlight this January. They recently dominated the brand rankings for all stars, proving that they are indeed unstoppable.
According to the recent data released by the Korean Business Research Institute, NewJeans has secured the No. 1 spot in the brand reputation rankings for all stars.
The list provided by the organization is based on several factors including consumer participation, and media, communication, interaction, and community indices. Notably, the institute was able to analyze 238,303,124 star brand big data from December 29, 2022 to January 29, 2023. Compared to the 232,979,812 star brand big data in December, it increased by 2.28 percent.
A WELL-DESERVED REIGN
Dominating the list with great pride, ADOR’s prized girl group NewJeans acquired a brand reputation index of 8,917,773. It increased by 32.59 percent compared to their data back in December 2022.
Specifically, the group had a participation index of 2,610,740, media index of 1,334,965, communication index of 2,219,032, and community index of 2,753,035.
OTHER ARTISTS THAT CONQUERED THE MONTH OF JANUARY
Taking second and third places are BTS and trot singer Lim Young Woong. The former superbly attained a brand reputation index of 7,527,175, while the latter obtained a brand reputation index of 7,187,117.
Demonstrating their astounding popularity, charming soloist IU and versatile girl group BLACKPINK scored the fourth and fifth spots. Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo, Yoo Jae Suk, Song Joong Ki, Younha, and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo placed sixth to tenth respectively.
