The game is about to resume. The highly anticipated main teaser trailer for Squid Game Season 2 has just been released, debuting at Lucca Comics & Games, Europe’s largest Comic Con, where eager fans packed in to catch an exclusive look.

Stars Lee Jung Jae and Wi Ha Jun, along with director Hwang Dong-hyuk, made live appearances, adding to the buzz surrounding the event.

Created by Hwang Dong-hyuk, *Squid Game* became a worldwide sensation after its 2021 premiere. Despite spending 12 years in development, it skyrocketed to Netflix’s top spot in just 12 days, captivating global audiences and holding the number one position on the Global Top 10 for nine consecutive weeks — an unprecedented achievement for a non-English show. The series also made Emmy history, further cementing its impact.

Season 2 intensifies the story, with Lee Jung-jae returning as Seong Gi-hun, or Player 456. Hardened by past trauma, Gi-hun is on a mission to reveal the game’s deadly secrets, yet his warnings fall on deaf ears, creating tension among fellow players who question his motives.
