BTS Confirms Long-Awaited Comeback in March

By  |

BTS is officially gearing up for their long-awaited comeback — and the countdown ends on March 20!

Big Hit Music confirmed the news on the 1st, announcing that the group will drop their new album on March 20, marking their first full-length release in nearly four years since the anthology album Proof in June 2022.

The comeback date was first hinted at in the sweetest way possible: through handwritten New Year letters personally delivered to ARMY members’ homes. Each message was filled with gratitude and warmth — plus one unforgettable detail written clearly on the page: “2026.03.20.”

The members poured their hearts out in their messages:

  • RM: “We’ve waited more earnestly than anyone else.”
  • Jin: “Thank you so much for waiting.”
  • SUGA: “Let’s have fun together this year, too. I love you.”
  • J-Hope: “What I thought has finally become reality!”
  • Jimin: “The year we meet has come.”
  • V: “Please look forward to it — we’ll make even more great memories in 2026!”
  • Jungkook: “We miss you! Please take care of us this year too.”

These letters were sent as a heartfelt gift to loyal Weverse fan-club members who have stayed by BTS’ side over the past three years. Fans who didn’t receive the physical copy will get the same message digitally on Weverse at the end of January — ensuring ARMY all over the world can share the moment together.

On New Year’s Eve, BTS greeted fans through a live broadcast with all seven members present, sharing reflections and hopes for the year ahead. “I hope we can make a safe comeback and release a successful album. Let’s make BTS a huge hit,” they said with bright smiles.

And that’s not all — once the album drops, BTS will kick off a massive world tour, with details to be revealed soon through official channels.
