IVE Breaks Own First-Day Sales Record With “AFTER LIKE”

Aiming to conquer the K-Pop scene with tracks that hit hard each comeback, IVE attains an impressive feat with their latest offering, AFTER LIKE!

Powerful rookie girl group IVE proves their continuous musical growth and popularity by marking their newest comeback with an outstanding sales feat.

Just recently, the group made their return to the K-Pop scene with their third single album AFTER LIKE. Spearheaded by the retro and empowering track of the same name, the album showcases the girls’ riveting music colors and impressive singing and rapping skills.

Unveiled on August 22, IVE’s latest music offering has recorded 464,690 copies sold on Hanteo. Notably, the girls were able to attain such an amazing feat in just a day since the album’s successful worldwide release.

In addition, AFTER LIKE‘s first week sales achievement was way higher than what their previous single album Love Dive attained. The latter recorded 338,141 copies sold during its first week, which is still quite massive for such a talented and well-rounded rookie group.

As a result, After LIKE has also achieved third-highest first-day sales of any album by a female artist in Hanteo history following aespa‘s “Girls” and BLACKPINK‘s “THE ALBUM.”

These subsequent feats are fitting presents for the girls who have achieved a lot in the past months. Apart from becoming viral for their previous title track “Love Dive” and attaining 10 wins from major shows in South Korea, they also managed to conquer the international music scene by entering the Billboard Global Exclusive US Chart. 

This just goes to show how much the girl group works hard to always deliver the best performances and image to their fans.

Proving their massive influence, IVE also topped MelOn’s real-time popular chart with their latest track. The music video to “After LIKE” is also currently trending at #2 for Music on YouTube Worldwide.

Meanwhile, the group is set perform their newest title track on various music shows in South Korea.
