K-Pop Rookie ‘Nowadays’ Becomes NOWZ: A Bold Rebrand, A New Beginning
Cube Entertainment’s rising boy group Nowadays is embracing a fresh chapter with a sleek new name: NOWZ.
On June 2, Cube officially unveiled the group’s new identity by releasing a logo motion video across social media platforms, confirming that Nowadays would now be known as NOWZ.
The rebranding marks a bold step just one year after their debut, as the group sets out to redefine their identity and unlock greater potential. The new name, NOWZ, blends “NOW”—symbolizing the present moment—with “Z”, representing limitless possibilities and fresh beginnings rather than an endpoint. The group, made up of Hyun Bin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon, is determined to carve out their own space in the industry with more distinctive music and concepts that break away from the norm.
Since debuting on April 2, 2024, with their single album “NOWADAYS”, the group has steadily built momentum through releases like “Rainy day (2024 Remake ver.)”, “NOWHERE”, and “Let’s get it.”
Their impact has already been recognized through accolades such as the IS Rookie Award at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards, the Blooming Star Award at the 32nd Hanteo Music Awards, and the ASEA Hot Trend Award at ASEA 2025. They were also highlighted as breakout talent with a ‘Golden Choice’ stage at the 39th Golden Disc Awards.
With this confident rebrand to NOWZ, the group is signaling not just a name change, but a commitment to growth, innovation, and the next level of their artistic journey.
