SF9 Heats Up Summer with Surprise “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” Teaser For 14th EP

K-pop group SF9 has sent waves of excitement through their fandom, FANTASY, with the unexpected release of the first teaser for their upcoming title track, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” The teaser, which dropped on August 1st at 6 PM KST, offers a tantalizing glimpse into what promises to be a refreshing summer comeback.

The music video teaser showcases a playful concept set in a laundromat, featuring members HWIYOUNG and YOO TAEYANG in eye-catching scenes. HWIYOUNG’s shirt removal and YOO TAEYANG’s laundry toss hint at a lighthearted and potentially flirtatious theme, while other members are spotted throughout the setting, building anticipation for their roles in the full video.

This summer-themed comeback seems to be a dream come true for member Inseong, who previously expressed regret to Hellokpop about missing out on the group’s eleventh mini-album and its title track, “SCREAM,” due to military enlistment. Now, it appears Inseong’s wish has been granted with “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”

Adding to the excitement are the promotional reels that have already started dropping for the album. Inseong, in particular, caught fans’ attention with a clip of himself watching the teaser while wearing sunglasses, with the cheekily voiceover, “I like to wear sunglasses so people can’t see what I am looking at.”
