Woo!ah! To Release New Music After 18-Month Hiatus

Woo!ah! joins the April 2024 comeback schedule!

Woo!ah!, the popular girl group, is gearing up to make a long-awaited return to the music scene after a hiatus of nearly a year and a half. The announcement came from the group’s agency, SSQ Entertainment, on Friday, March 22nd.

Fans can anticipate the group’s new release, slated to drop in April, following their previous single, “Pit-a-Pat,” which was released back in November 2022. While specific details about the upcoming release remain under wraps for now, excitement is building among supporters eager to hear what Woo!ah! has in store.

During the group’s break, members pursued solo endeavors, keeping busy with various projects. Nana and Wooyeon notably showcased their talents on Mnet’s girl group competition program “Queendom Puzzle” in 2023, where they emerged as finalists. Nana, as a runner-up, secured a spot in the project girl group EL7Z, which made their debut in September with the track “7+UP.”

In addition to her music pursuits, Nana has been active as a host on shows like MBC M’s music program “Show Champion” since 2012. Meanwhile, Wooyeon ventured into acting, appearing in TV series such as Disney+’s “Revenge of Others” (2022) and web drama “Snap and Spark” (2023).

The remaining members – Sora, Lucy, and Minseo – maintained their presence through regular appearances on the group’s YouTube channel and WeVerse.

According to SSQ Entertainment, the Woo!ah! members are dedicated to delivering a fresh perspective with their upcoming album, promising fans an exciting new chapter. The agency expressed gratitude to fans for their patience and unwavering support throughout the group’s hiatus, setting the stage for an eagerly awaited comeback.
