ENHYPEN’s ‘SHOUT OUT’ Chosen as Team Korea Cheering Song for 2026 Winter Olympics
Music from ENHYPEN will energize support for Team Korea at the upcoming 2026 Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics.
According to Belift Lab, the group’s song “SHOUT OUT” (song, ENHYPEN track) from the mini album MANIFESTO: DAY 1 has been selected as the official cheering anthem for Korean athletes at the global sporting event.
“SHOUT OUT” captures the excitement of young voices speaking boldly to the world for the first time. Its uplifting melody and lyrics—such as “Voices growing together / My heart is pounding like it’s going to burst” and “Shout out my feelings / Shout out with a burning heart!”—are expected to inspire both athletes and fans. The song’s energetic message aligns with the spirit of competition and national support, aiming to heighten enthusiasm for Korea’s Olympic delegation.
To further encourage participation, a cheering challenge based on the anthem will be launched by the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee. The initiative features simple choreography focused on upper-body movements, allowing fans of all ages to join in supporting the athletes. The challenge was introduced on social media with participation from Sung Hoon (people, KSOC goodwill ambassador), emphasizing accessibility and collective encouragement during the Winter Games.
ENHYPEN’s involvement in the Olympics extends beyond the cheering song. Member Sung Hoon has been selected as a torchbearer for the Olympic relay, continuing his role as a goodwill ambassador for the committee. A former member of Korea’s national figure skating team, he was recommended by Samsung Electronics (company, South Korean electronics), an official sponsor of the Winter Olympics. The torch relay participation highlights the connection between sports and cultural achievement, reflecting themes of perseverance and challenge.
The group’s Olympic-related activities coincide with strong global momentum in their music career. ENHYPEN’s latest mini album, released on January 16, achieved high chart rankings, including second place on Billboard’s main album chart and top positions on Japanese music charts. The commercial success reinforces the group’s growing international influence as they continue to bridge music, culture, and global events.
With the Olympics approaching, the selection of “SHOUT OUT” as the cheering anthem is expected to unite fans and athletes in shared excitement. Both the sporting and music communities anticipate that the collaboration will amplify support for Team Korea while celebrating the spirit of challenge and achievement.
