Former fromis_9 Member Jang Gyuri Starts Anew With New Agency
With aims to broaden her acting spectrum, fromis_9 member Jang Gyuri has finally joined the growing Just Entertainment family.
South Korean actress and singer Jang Gyuri has recently signed an exclusive contract with Just Entertainment.
On August 29, JUST Entertainment shared the exciting news via their Instagram. The agency uploaded a brief video of the artist greeting her ever-supportive and loving fans.

Jang Gyuri remarked, “I’m going to be working with JUST Entertainment. I think I will be able to greet you in various ways as an actress from now on. Please look forward to [my acting] in the future.”
GYURI’S COLORFUL CAREER
Jang Gyuri officially debuted in 2018 as one of the members of Pledis Entertainment’s girl group, fromis_9, which was formed through Mnet’s survival show Idol School. The actress finished ninth in the competition and immediately became recognized for her jaw-dropping visuals and impressive talents. The same year, Gyuri joined another reality show, Produce 48, but was eliminated in the 11th episode.
The former idol made her first appearance on the small screen in 2019 with tvN D’s web drama Dating Class, in which she played the role of Kang Jiyoung. She began to make a name for herself as an actress through her role as Sun Byul in the popular TV series It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, starring Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji.
Jang Gyuri recently parted ways with fromis_9 following the expiration of her contract with Pledis Entertainment in July 2022. Just recently, she accepted the role of Tae Cho Hee in SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Cheer Up (literal title).
JUST Entertainment houses numerous talented artists known for their commendable acting abilities. These include Yoon Kye Sang, Kim Sang Ho, Jung Woong In, Park Ji Hwan, Kim Joo Ryoung, Oh Seung Hoon, and Seo Ji Hye, among others. It was established in 2020 by experts with more than 10 years of experience in domestic management companies.
