Lay Says He Will Always Be Here For EXO

Haters gonna hate, but Lay is not going anywhere. He is staying with EXO.

There may have been questions on Lay’s loyalty to EXO after missing out on the group’s comebacks. But he shut down the baseless accusations during his fan event in New York on November 6.

The singer-songwriter held his first solo event at the PlayStation Theater in New York City, US, where he was greeted by a full house venue.

During a talk section of the event, Lay took notice of the EXO light sticks in the crowd which was met with screams from the audience.

The EXO member went on to say, “I want to tell you, guys, that I love my members. If my member needs me, I’ll always be here. I’ll always be here.”

This is not the first time in the week that Lay expresses his love publicly for his fellow members. During his interview on People Now, he talked about working with EXO and as a solo artist.

According to him, when he is with his members, he can share the workload with them. However, as a soloist, he must do all things by himself.

Moreover, Lay participated in EXO’s most recent comeback with Don’t Mess Up My Tempo. He appeared in the teasers, concept photos, and music videos of “Tempo”. He also recorded a part in the Chinese version of the title track.

The singer-songwriter, who came out with his third solo album and US debut album NAMANANA on October 19, took part in various interviews in the United States with US Billboard, People Magazine, MTV, FOX5’s Good Day New York.

His fan event was graced by 2,000 fans, who filled the PlayStation Theater on November 6 to witness his first solo event in the United States.

Additionally, Lay maintained his number one ranking on Billboard’s World Albums Chart. He also continues to rank on Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks.
