NCT 127 Tops Billboard’s World Digital Songs Chart

NC 127 is definitely working their way up the world!

This week, NCT 127’s “Simon Says” tops Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. The group is currently the thirteenth Korean group and the fourth Korean male idol group to top the charts; but they are also the fastest, already earning the top spot on Billboard’s charts over two years after their debut in 2016.

According to Nielsen Music, NCT 127’s “Simon Says” sold 2000 copies, and garnered 2.1 million audio and video streams in the United States. While this does not surpass “Regular” which sold 3000 copies and ranked second in the Billboard 200, it’s easy to see why this marks the group’s best sales week for a single.

Aside from their latest title track, another NCT 127 song that makes an appearance in Billboard’s World Digital Sales Chart is “Welcome to My Playground,” which debuts seventh on the charts. Both of these tracks are featured on Regulate: The 1st Album Repackage, which debut fifteenth on Billboard’s World Albums Chart.

Aside from their releases performing well on Billboard’s charts, the group itself has been making its way up Billboard’s artist charts as well. The boys are currently 56th on Billboard’s Artist 100; a chart that lists the most popular acts for the week, and first on the Emerging Artists chart; a chart that ranks the most popular developing artists for the week.

In terms of social media presence, NCT 127 is currently ranked second on the Social 50 charts.
