Get well soon, NCT’s Jisung!

NCT’s beloved maknae Jisung has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Just recently, SM Entertainment announced through an official statement that Jisung tested positive for COVID-19 and will temporarily halt all of his activities.

“Jisung has completed the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and has no symptoms other than a slight sore throat,” the agency said. “All NCT DREAM members tested negative in the preemptive rapid antigen test.”

Jisung became the first member of NCT to contract the coronavirus. To assure fans about his health condition as well as the other artists in the company, the agency said, “We will continue to strictly abide by the quarantine guidelines, and we will do our best to focus on recovery, considering the health and safety of our artists as our top priority.”

Meanwhile, NCT DREAM made their grand comeback late last March. Notably, the septet raked in amazing records with their second full-album Glitch Mode. They ranked first place on various music charts around the world and even debuted on Billboard 200 chart as the 5th best-selling album in the United States.
