Get well soon, NCT’s Jeno and Chenle!

NCT’s Jeno and Chenle temporarily halted their activities after testing positive for COVID-19.

On the evening of June 2, SM Entertainment released an update through the fan community platform Lsyn regarding the health condition of Jeno and Chenle as well as the upcoming activities of NCT DREAM.

“NCT’s Jeno and Chenle were diagnosed with Corona 19 this evening.”

According to the agency, Jeno tested negative for the self-diagnostic kit test conducted prior to the morning schedule, but before the scheduled video fan signing event in the afternoon, Jeno felt some symptoms and took the self-diagnosis kit test again and received a positive result. He immediately proceeded with a rapid antigen test and was confirmed to have COVID-19.

At the same time, all NCT DREAM members performed a preemptive rapid antigen test, and Chenle additionally tested positive. Fortunately, the other members tested negative.

In this regard, the management company said, “Jeno and Chenle have completed their third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and immediately stop all schedules and are self-isolating according to the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. We have inevitably canceled our scheduled schedule this week. We ask for your understanding.”

Meanwhile, NCT DREAM made a comeback on May 30 with the 2nd regular repackage Beatbox.
