SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan Adjusts Activities After Testing COVID-19 Positive

While we await SEVENTEEN’s new song “Darl+ing”, let us show our support and send our prayers for Jeonghan’s fast recovery.

Ahead of their nearing comeback, Jeonghan from the powerhouse boy group SEVENTEEN has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

On April 13, Pledis Entertainment took to the group’s social media accounts as well as on Weverse to share an official announcement about SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan’s health.

“Jeonghan was tested positive on a self-test he took on the evening of Wednesday, April 13. He promptly took a rapid antigen test and was confirmed with COVID-19, ” the agency said. “He is currently experiencing a sore throat and a mild cough and is administering self-treatment at home.”

According to the agency, Jeonghan briefly came in contact with his group members, Mingyu and Vernon on April 13, but they were all wearing masks and did not have close contact with one another. Other than the three, other members of SEVENTEEN are not experiencing any symptoms.

To focus on recuperating his health, Jeonghan will temporarily halt his activities.

“We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of JEONGHAN, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will also continue to fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities. Thank you,” the agency added.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will gift fans with their first English track “Darl+ing” tomorrow, April 15 at 1 PM KST.
