Lay Zhang Releases New Album With Stunning MV

The international phenomenon celebrates his 10th anniversary!

Lay Zhang is back with a new album, West, to mark another milestone in his thriving career.

“I am extremely excited to celebrate my 10th anniversary with this brand-new EP ‘West.’ A lot of the sounds, lyrics, and content were inspired by the quote, “If the wind knows my intentions, blowing dreams to Xizhou,” said LAY. “I hope that everyone can enjoy the emotion and dreamlike quality I tried to provide in this EP and music video.”

The five-track album spans an array of genres, including modern hip-hop and pop beats. The lead track, “VEIL,” includes both English and Mandarin versions on the album as well as is accompanied by a stunning music video seen above.

In addition to the album, LAY will be taking his Grand Line 2: Infinite Lands, with upcoming shows in Malaysia and Singapore to North America. It was also announced Lay will be headlining the upcoming MetaMoon, at Barclays Center in NYC on November 26.

ABOUT LAY

Lay is a multi-talented Chinese singer, songwriter, and producer. He debuted with EXO in April 2012 and has since topped the charts as a member of the K-Pop group as well as a soloist. Lay is the first Chinese artist to enter the iTunes Top 60 in the US with his third album, “NAMANANA.”
