EXO’s Suho, Lee Sang Yi, Lee Kyu Hyung, And More Confirmed For Vacation-Themed Variety Show

Six of the most talented and charming Korean artists today will come together to treat fans with a special healing variety show on SBS!

An exciting outdoor variety show will soon grace viewers’ screens starring some of the most sought-after actors today EXO’s Suho, Lee Kyu Hyung, Lee Sang Yi, Lee Yoo Young, Lim Ji Yeon, and Cha Seo Won.

Just recently, SBS confirmed that the six aforementioned artists will officially join a new exciting reality program. 

Titled More Than Best Friends Taking Off : If I Go Just Once (literal translation), the vacation-themed program will feature young actors who are friends but have yet to go on a proper vacation together as they set off to an unknown destination. 

Although these six actors appear to have nothing specific in common, besides Lee Kyu Hyung, they are all alumni of the Korea National University of Arts. Lee Kyu Hyung and Lee Sang Yi also performed together in the musical A Gentleman’s Guide To Love And Murder and were met with high praise by the audience as a “legendary pair.”

The cast will particularly visit Queensland, Australia to enjoy a relaxing vacation in an unfamiliar place. While touring the city, viewers can expect that the actors will display their unexpected charms, while unleashing their solid chemistry and true personalities.

This new SBS show is also expected to deliver comfort and happiness to both K-Drama fans and casual viewers amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

MEET THE CAST

First among the well-rounded artists who will join the show is Suho, the leader of powerhouse K-Pop group EXO. He is one of the vocalists of the group and is known for his warm and welcoming personality.

Actor Lee Sang Yi, who delivered a stellar performance in the 2021 hit drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, will also make the program more fun and lively. He also made a name for himself through numerous musicals such as Grease, Red Book, and Thrill Me.

Expected to bring out their bubbly image are Lee Kyu Hyung, Lee Yoo Young, Lim Ji Yeon, and Cha Seo Won. Kyu Hyung is best known for his colorful acting spectrum on stage and screen, while Yoo Young made history as the first Korean to win the Best Actress Award at the 14th Milan International Film Festival for her 2014 film Late Spring.

Both Lim Ji Yeon and Cha Seo Won have impressed fans through their various roles in popular short films and stage plays.

More Than Best Friends Taking Off : If I Go Just Once is produced by Lee Ji Won, who worked on Law of the Jungle, and is set for premiere this October.
