The hip-hop group is known for its strong and manly concepts which it has continuously exhibited since its debut in 2015 since Trespass. MONSTA X’s recent come back, Fighter, has also exemplified the strong charms of the members.

On Fighter and ‘GUILTY’

The septet returned to the K-pop scene last October with their fourth mini album and Fighter as the title track. “The Clan 2.5 Pt. 2 ‘GUILTY'” marked the second part in the group’s The Clan series.

Rapper Jooheon said the concept of Fighter aimed to give a strong emotion, representative of its name.

Aside from the album’s title track, Kihyun (vocals) chose the song White Love as his favorite from the album. “We like it because Jooheon made it and our fans liked it,” he said.

Jooheon participated in writing the lyrics and music for the song. Rapper and youngest member I.M. has also actively participated in writing lyrics for all the songs in the album, along with Jooheon.

“The Clan 2.5 Pt. 2 ‘GUILTY'” has sold 75, 775 copies since its release, according to Gaon Chart for October. The album also entered the Billboard World Album Chart at number 3.
