Nam Woo Hyun Releases A Fun OST For tVN’s New Drama “Shooting Stars”

Nam Woo Hyun of phenomenal K-Pop boy group INFINITE gave fans the most wonderful present as he gifted his riveting vocals to the newest ongoing drama on tVN!

INFINITE’s talented vocalist Nam Woo Hyun was named as the first runner in the official soundtrack of the newest drama on tVN titled Shooting Stars.

VLENDING, the company in charge of producing the OST for the drama, unveiled the track on the evening of April 22. Titled “Shooting Star,” the track expresses the emotions of the protagonists of the show. It contains feelings of love that cannot be controlled like a comet drawn by gravity.

Moreover, the song plans to capture the lively life and heart-fluttering romance of those who are at the forefront of the entertainment industry.

Falling under the pop genre, “Shooting Star” has a trendy sound and a fast tempo. It also delivers cheerful energy, which is perfect for days when you are feeling down and want to receive a mood booster in an instant.

Making it more memorable, viewers can hear this track during the most exciting parts of the program, especially when Oh Han-byul (played by Lee Sung Kyung) and Gong Tae-Sung (played by Kim Young Dae) face one another.

Heartfelt lyrics such as “Shooting star who approached me and gave me / That’s what you are /Baby do you feel my heart / Are they the same as each other?” and “You’re the one /

I’ve waited for my life/ Before my eyes / What I want to tell you / You are my Shooting star” perfectly encapsulate the track’s message and theme.

To make the song more exciting, Kim Beom-ju, Kim Si-hyuk, Nam Nam-moon also participated in its making and composition.

NAM WOO HYUN: A POWERFUL VOCALIST

This special project marked Nam Woo Hyun’s second time to feature in a drama OST following her sweet and lovely track for the 2014 drama Modern Farmer.

Meanwhile, Sh**ting Stars is a drama about the love-hate relationship between top actor Gong Tae-Sung and PR team leader Oh Han-Byul. It stars two of the hottest and most sought-after actors today, Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-dae.
