Jang Keun Suk, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Elijah, And More To Lead New Crime Thriller
A new crime thriller will grace the small screens soon and it stars some of the most talented actors in the industry!
Coupang Play’s upcoming crime thriller drama Chronicle of Crime (literal translation) has recently confirmed its cast lineup, much to K-Drama fans’ delight.
Chronicle of Crime is a drama about uncovering the truth behind unsolved past cases through vicious current cases. It will be helmed by Director Kim Hong Sun, who is known for his amazing works such as Voice, The Guest, and Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area.
Actors Jang Keun Suk, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Elijah, Lee Sung Wook, Lee Seung Joon, Park Myung Hoon, Oh Yeon Ah, Lee Won Jong, and more, are set to star in the new, exciting program. During the first script reading last August 23, the cast members were able to preview the tension and chemistry they will show once filming starts.
MEET THE STARS WHO WILL LEAD THE DRAMA
Global star Jang Geun Suk, who is known for his stellar performance in the dramas Switch Change The World, You’re Beautiful, Love Rain, and Pretty Man, will take on the role of Goo Do Han, a lawyer and special homicide detective. At the recent script reading, the actor displayed his impressive skills in acting and excellent synchronization with the character who is moderately secular and moderately just.
Heo Sung Tae, who recently appeared in hit series like Squid Game, Beyond Evil, and Hunt, will transform into Noh Sang Cheon, a man who was born to be a scammer. Given his expertise with dark roles, the actor will undoubtedly nail his new project, while adding vulgarity to his character.
Lee Elijah, who made a name for herself in her roles in The Good Detective, Fight For My Way, Miss Hammurabi, The Last Empress, and Chief of Staff, and play the hot-blooded reporter Cheon Na Yeon. Her character is always prepared to battle and will be an image that Lee Elijah has yet to showcase.
Chronicle of Crime will reportedly start filming in the second half of the year.
